Northern California Schools Insurance Group

Northern California Schools Insurance Group (NCSIG) is a Joint Powers Authority (JPA) authorized under the laws of the state of California, originally formed in 1982 for the purpose of providing both liability and property coverage protection for public schools. NCSIG membership of 113 members includes K–12 School Districts, County Offices of Education, and Regional Occupational Programs, encompassing more than 525 sites in 11 northern counties. The JPA has been consistently “Accredited with Excellence” by the California Association of Joint Powers Authorities (CAJPA).
